On the first Wednesday of each month, we have a covered dish meal at 6PM.  Our monthly business meeting will follow the meal at 7PM.  Choir Practice is at 8PM.

Ephesus Baptist Church offers a traditional worship service and is involved in a variety of missions and ministry projects throughout our local area.  We are affilliated with the Tar River Baptist Association (www.tarriverba.com ), the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina (www.bscnc.org ), and the Southern Baptist Convention (www.sbc.org ).

Saturday February 11th
 
Valentine's Banquet
 

The Ephesus Baptist Area Youth (EBAY) are hosting a Valentine Banquet in the fellowship hall on Saturday, February 11th, at 5 p.m. at Ephesus.  This is a wonderful way to spend the evening with your loved ones, and to be entertained and served professionally by our youth and their leaders.  You will not have to stand in long lines at a restaurant and you don’t have to cook!  This has become a yearly event you will not want to miss!

Focus on WMU Sunday
 

Sunday February 12 is "Focus on WMU Day" - Our speaker will be Sandra Johnson, of Triad Ladder of Hope in High Point, that ministers to victims of human trafficking.  A love offering will be taken for the organization.

 
 
SATURDAY FEBRUARY 18:
 
Billy Graham Library and Museum Visit in Charlotte
 

There is still time to sign up to go visit the Billy Graham Library and Museum in Charlotte on Saturday February 18th.  There are seats left on the bus so don’t miss this opportunity!  Please be at the church at 6:50am so we can leave the church at 7AM and will stop for breakfast at Bojangles in Zebulon on the way.  After the museum, we will hopefully make a stop at IKEA and eat dinner at Concord Mills.  We should be back to the church around 9PM or 10PM.  If you are still interested in going or are planning to go, please confirm to Patrick Snipes ASAP or by Sunday February 12th so the group reservation can be made.  Please call him on his cell at (919) 741-8969 if you have any questions.  Admission to the museum is free and if you would like to see more information, visit:

D-Now Youth Weekend
Friday Feb 17 - Saturday Feb 18:
 

What exactly is D-Now?  Think of it as a mini Mfuge-like event/retreat/praise and worship/party/fellowship/sleepover/Bible Study/local mission trip with many of your close friends….100+ new friends!

When is the D-Now event?  Friday February 17th and Saturday February 18th

What is the schedule for the weekend?  Friday night begins at 6PM with a meal and worship service with other youth at Rock Springs Baptist Church.  After the worship service, small groups of youth from our church will be hosted in homes of members from Ephesus for the night.  The hosts will conduct a bible study “Imitator: Choosing to Follow God”.  After a breakfast and another bible study Saturday morning, we will regroup at Ephesus where you will be assigned to a local mission project.  Lunch will be provided.  At 4:30PM you will return to Rock Springs  for a time of fellowship, supper, and another worship service.  You will return to Ephesus around 8:30PM or 9PM Saturday night.

What is the cost?  $15-Includes both meals at Rock Springs and a t-shirt.  A $10 balance is due Sunday February 5th.  Please give your money to Karen Hendricks.

Who may attend?  6-12 graders-invite your friends to be involved in the fun!!

Please be in prayer for this event and pray as a church family in how you can serve during this event.  Transportation will be needed on Saturday due to the bus being used for the Charlotte trip.  Contact Karen Hendricks or Sally Sandifer for more information.
